I am always looking to hire models for my paintings.  My needs vary depending on the project.  In some cases, I may need someone to pose for reference photographs, and a short painting session from life.  At other times, I may need a model to return to my studio on several occasions, so that I may paint them from life over a number of sessions.  For some projects, I may paint outdoors, whether it is for a portrait, a costumed figure, or a nude.

    Generally, I pay models in the range of  $12 - $15  per hour.  For a one day pose with a photo session, I will set a minimum time limit, and pay that amount even if the session falls well short of that goal.  For multiple sessions of life painting, the model and I schedule a weekly time to meet, and the model works for  4 - 6  hours, with paid breaks.  Usually, I require five such sessions.
